RAIN - A Tribute to the Beatles
Exclusive Broadway Opening Invitation
New York, NY
October 26-29, 2010
TESTIMONIAL:
“Janice and I had a wonderful weekend. All three of the shows were so different, but so enjoyable - great seats. The hotel was above and beyond what I had anticipated. Spacious rooms and very helpful, friendly staff. The two included meals were very good. We so enjoyed the actors speaking with us at Sardi's.
You as our hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We appreciate everything you did to make our trip memorable. Thank you.”

PACKAGE DESCRIPTION:
Broadway Across America is pleased to extend this exclusive invitation to join us for opening night of RAIN – A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES, a landmark new show coming to Broadway for a strictly limited 11-week engagement. Our group will, in fact, be among the few “fans” on hand for this invitation-only opening night, a rare opportunity to have as part of your theatre package.
The theme of landmark breakthroughs in rock-and-roll is carried throughout this New York theatre trip which is unlike any other trip of its kind. Two other ground-breaking new musicals, 2010 Best Musical winner MEMPHIS and fellow nominee MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET round out the shows in your full-service VIP experience.
Your trip rocks from the very start on Tuesday evening with RAIN, the Ultimate Beatles Tribute Band. The history of RAIN actually predates the Broadway hit "Beatlemania", from which RAIN's all-star cast was recruited. When Dick Clark searched for the musicians to record the soundtrack for "Birth of the Beatles", he didn't have to look much further than to this talented Beatles tribute band. No other group can claim the level of talent and true musicianship contained within this band.
There are other acts who respectfully attempt to replicate a subset of the Beatles music, but only RAIN – A Tribute to the Beatles can perform the full range of the Beatles discography live onstage, including the most complex and challenging songs that the Beatles themselves recorded in the studios but never performed for an audience. No other rendition of the Beatles’ music comes close to this level of performance, which has taken years of mastery and attention to detail that is unmatched. From the early days of the Beatles’ appearance on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964, through the Sgt. Peppers era and on to the Abbey Road years, the RAIN Beatles performance captures it all flawlessly.
Your second featured trip is the brand-new sensation MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, which comes off that Tony® nomination for Best New Musical and a Tony® Award for Best Featured Actor in Levi Kreis who plays Jerry Lee Lewis. It’s a very unique (no intermission), creatively produced and riveting show that reels you and keeps you there for the entire show – a great way to start the weekend. Following the show, we have scheduled a “chat back” with the featured actors exclusively for our group. This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.
Your third featured show is 2010 Tony® Best Musical winner MEMPHIS, an energetic and rollicking musical that has been drawing standing ovations and rave reviews on Broadway since its opening night in October.
The Associated Press raves, "The sensuous, soulful sound of rhythm 'n' blues hits the audience right from the start of "Memphis," the exhilarating new musical now shaking Broadway's Shubert Theatre. Take a deep breath as the curtain rises because the exuberance doesn't stop.
Come late October, you just might find there’s no other place you would rather be than New York City. The weather can be expected to be at its finest with scenic fall foliage in Central Park and comfortable temperatures both day and night. Meanwhile, every detail of your trip will be attended to by our dedicated staff.
Following door-to-door service from airport to your hotel door via luxury town car, it is time to settle in to distinctive accommodations at the perfectly situated Westin New York Times Square. Your weekend in the Big Apple then kicks into gear with an elegant welcome reception with fellow guests, a prelude to the first performance of the trip.
Limited to just 30 guests, this Broadway Across America exclusive also features roundtrip airfare, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, elegant accommodations in the heart of Times Square, excellent tickets to another projected Tony Award contender and the dedicated professional on-site services of the Broadway Across America staff.

Orchestra/front mezzanine seating to the riveting new hit musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET at the Nederlander Theatre on Friday, October 8. On December 4, 1956, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary night to life, featuring a score of rock hits that includes “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Hound Dog.” The musical captures the singular moment when four major talents came together to become a red-hot rock ‘n’ roll band.

Orchestra/front mezzanine seating to MEMPHIS on Thursday, October 28. Set in the turbulent south in the 1950s, MEMPHIS is the story of Huey Calhoun, a white radio DJ whose love of good music transcends race lines and airwaves. Thanks in part to his passionate persistence, “race” music reaches the center of the radio dial, quickly exploding throughout mainstream America. But when Huey falls for a beautiful black singer he has set on the path to stardom, whether the world is really ready for this music, and their love, is put to the test.
